Since its beginning in 1979 in Spain, Astara is today one of the largest automotive mobility groups in the world, present in three continents, 19 countries, with over 230,000 vehicle sales per year and hitting an a forecasted annual turnover of €5.5 billion in 2022.

Astara has its HQ premises in Spain and a presence in Latam, Europe, and Southeast Asia (Portugal, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, BENELUX, Germany, Poland, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, Philippines, and Spain).

Astara distributes 30 car brands, five of them in Spain, providing a mobility ecosystem, encompassing all markets in which the company operates, including all options of ownership, subscription, use, and connectivity that bring along the latest technology.

Recognizing the global trend towards a more customer-led economy in the current digital environment, we are committed to pursuing new business ventures resulting from this unique scenario.

Our brands

Getting closer to customers

Currently, Astara Spain is the national distributor of five car brands: Subaru, SsangYong, Mitsubishi, and more recently two 100% electric brands, Maxus and Aiways. Furthermore, Astara Spain is also the official importer of Kia in the Canary Islands.

Thanks to the best relation with OEM's we are able to power these brands, getting the closer to customers and continuously improving their positioning in the market.
