Astara becomes exclusive importer of Zeekr in Colombia

The Open Mobility Company expands its electric offering in Colombia with a new partnership with Zeekr.

Zeekr is the premium BEV brand under Geely Holding Group, China’s largest privately-owned automotive group.

Bogotá, 30th of May 2024 – Zeekr, the premium BEV brand under Geely Holding Group, has appointed Astara, a leading global mobility company, as its exclusive importer for Colombia. This achievement marks the first collaboration between the companies, and the beginning of a long-term partnership that reinforces Astara’s EV portfolio in the Colombian market.

Zeekr was established in 2021 with the objective of delivering full BEV options to customers. Over three years, Zeekr has delivered more than 250,000 vehicles in total and from January to April 2024, doubled its year-on-year growth with the sale of 50,000 vehicles. Astara and Zeekr are offering a product portfolio that is aligned with the Colombian market demands, which has shifted towards a preference for electric vehicles, a sector that has seen 170% growth in the last two years.

 

Astara will unveil two of Zeekr’s most notable models to the electric vehicle market: Zeekr X and Zeekr 001. With Zeekr X, customers will experience its cutting-edge design combined with its advanced technology. With Zeekr 001, unparalleled luxury and performance, boasting an impressive range and efficiency, without compromising on style or power.
