Astara brings the iconic Microlino to its carsharing service in Madrid
The capital becomes the first city in the world to experience this unique electric two-seater as an option for carsharing.

Madrid, March 12, 2024 – Starting tomorrow, March 13, Astara is adding 10 Microlino units to the one-way fleet of its GoTo-Astara Move carsharing service in Madrid, making the Spanish capital the first in the world to incorporate this iconic electric two-seater as an option for carsharing.
With this step, Astara becomes a pioneer in incorporating the 100% electric micro segment into the carsharing offer in Madrid, establishing itself as a reference in sustainable micromobility and reiterating its commitment to the democratization of mobility.
The Astara Move catalogue has already offered the Microlino by monthly subscription since the end of July 2023, and it is also available for purchase through the Microlino Spain ( https://microlino-car.com/es/microlino ) website.
All GoTo-Astara Move users will now be able to enjoy the unique experience of driving the electric two-seater by paying only for as long as they need it. The innovative and disruptive electric vehicle will be available in the Dolce trim in the GoTo Spain-Astara Move app from €0.17/minute or €11/hour.
The arrival of Microlino to the carsharing service will be celebrated with a campaign for its users where they can win up to 300 euros in credits if they find the whereabouts of the Microlinos from clues that GoTo-Astara Move will publish on its social networks (@Goto_es). In addition, among the users of the first month, there will be a raffle for a one-month subscription to a Microlino courtesy of Astara Move.
Also, on the occasion of the launch, this afternoon a caravan of Microlinos captained by the brand's influencer Phil González will depart from the headquarters of Astara towards the center of Madrid, circulating through iconic Madrid sites including Plaza de Cibeles, Gran Vía and Plaza de España.

Microlino is a Swiss brand manufactured in Turin, Italy. This 100% electric light vehicle offers two comfortable seats, with a range of 177 km, a top speed of 90 km/h and a boot capacity of 230 liters. The Microlino has been specifically designed for urban areas, although it can be driven on any type of road, including highways.
In addition, its original design catches the eye because of the access door, placed in the front area, which, alongside its “micro” size at two and a half meters long and one and a half meters wide, allows it to be parked in very small spaces.
